01crewBefore rolling, inspect the top current card. Leave it in place or move it to the bottom of the deck.
“A patient look is often better than a hurried cast.”
02tackleSpend this lure at a channel space to take a channel catch. It stays in the discard pile until the lure deck is reshuffled.
“Small enough for a pocket. Useful enough for a detour.”
03catchDeliver this catch at a jetty for three points. At the end of the game, an undelivered bass is worth only one.
“A fine fish becomes a fine score only when it reaches the dock.”
04currentThe next player moves one fewer space, to a minimum of one. Discard the current after it affects that turn.
“Even a warm lagoon can change its mind.”
05taskDeliver one catch from each habitat together and add two points to that delivery. This bonus does not replace a scatter ripple.
“The dockkeeper likes a varied story.”
The basic lagoon game uses catches and lures. For an expanded table, give each skipper one Lagoon Scout to use once, reveal one current card at the beginning of each round, and make the Dockside Delivery bonus available to everyone. Resolve each current’s printed effect once. These additions are optional; agree on them before the first roll.
